Welcome to Wentworth College
Preparing Confident, Capable Learners
The Wentworth College curriculum builds on the strong foundations established in Primary School, supporting students to develop academic confidence, independence, and responsibility for their learning.
Students follow a broad and balanced programme that promotes depth of understanding, critical thinking, and strong study habits. Teaching is delivered in classes of no more than 25 students, allowing teachers to know students well and provide personalised support while maintaining high academic expectations.
Teachers take the time to know students well and adapt learning to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations. Learning is enriched through specialist teaching, co-curricular activities, and a strong emphasis on values and standards.
As part of the Cambridge International Education framework, learning is rigorous and internationally recognised, preparing students for success in external examinations and future pathways beyond school. Alongside academic study, students are encouraged to engage fully in co-curricular opportunities and leadership, developing confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of community.
By the end of their time at College, students are well-prepared for university and future pathways, with the knowledge, skills, and character to succeed.
